EMCO Industrial Training: International meeting of EMCO training dealers in Salzburg

 June 2009

Representatives from more than 30 countries congregated at Urstein Technical College and the EMCO exhibition center in Hallein to view the presentation of the new CONCEPT MILL 250 and exchange ideas.

Two days of intensive discussions and information on the latest developments at EMCO Industrial Training provided welcome encouragement in these still somewhat difficult times. All attendees positively noted that the training sector is far more resistant to the economic crisis than the production industry, and that during this difficult time, governments, ministries and institutional training organizations are not only receiving a higher number of requests for investment but are also more prepared to invest.

In addition to the presentation of the new CONCEPT MILL 250 with 7 kW spindle motor power, a 20‑tool magazine, and the unique interchangeable control WinNC, as well as several options, which were received with great enthusiasm, the success stories from various countries and practice-oriented presentations on the machines in the exhibition centers at EMCO provided plenty of inspiration for lively discussions that lasted until late in the evening. Even people's sporting abilities and other talents were required: The asphalt curling matches gave all the attendees the chance to demonstrate their transnational team spirit and their physical skills.
