In-house exhibition in Magdeburg: 03/12/2010
Presentation of the new vertical turning machine from EMCO and a celebration for the 10 year anniversary of Magdeburg Werkzeugmaschinen AG

HALLEIN/MAGDEBURG. After 10 years as part of the A-TEC group, Magdeburg Werkzeugmaschinen AG, now incorporated into the EMCO group and named EMCO Magdeburg AG, is firmly established in its role as a supplier to traditional engineering companies, solar and wind power plant manufacturers and the automotive industry and, of course, a key producer of components for the EMCO group. Magdeburg and headquarters worked closely together to develop a new vertical turning machine: a logical result of the consistent use of the synergies created by their different experiences and skills. The machine will be presented to customers and visitors at the in-house exhibition in Magdeburg on March 12.
The EMCO VERTICAL VT 250, a pick-up machine for chuck parts that automatically loads blank parts without the need for an additional automated unit, has helped to expand EMCO’s portfolio of automated products. In addition to standardized automation solutions such as gantry loaders, swing loaders and robot cells, EMCO is now able to offer an intelligent automation solution at an unbeatable price/performance ratio. This machine provides both regular and new EMCO customers with a reliable automated solution that guarantees short loading times, excellent stability, simple programming and operation, compact machine design, and optimum chip flow.
