The beating heart of flAXityCELL is the innovative container concept that enables long-distance autonomy:
Enormous storage capacity: The cell has two autonomous containers, each containing five drawers. Each container can load up to 900 kg (total volume 1 m³). This amount of material corresponds to the load of five Euro pallets.
Minimal downtime: Complete container replacement takes only about 40 seconds. This extremely fast replacement time is crucial for maximising machine uptime and drastically reducing downtime. An essential factor for automation efficiency.
Safe handling: A specially designed pull-out drawer supports the 180 kg per drawer during handling, ensuring a secure grip on the components.
In addition to simple part handling, the automation cell can be expanded into a complete machining station:
Finishing stations: Integrate additional processes such as deburring, cleaning or marking components directly in the cell to optimise the value chain.
Process stations: Optional stations for component rotation, temporary storage or alignment enable the machining of complex geometries on multiple sides.
Bin Picking (camera): Equip the structure with an intelligent image processing system. The optional camera for component recognition, including the ‘Bin Picking’ function, enables the secure gripping of unsorted raw parts.
Logistics 4.0: In addition to additional blister trolleys, the cell is designed for connection to driverless transport systems (AGVs). This enables perfectly integrated and fully automated logistics between the warehouse and production.
